Case Study: Stella & Dot

Stella & Dot is a San Francisco based jewelry and accessories social-selling company that creates flexible entrepreneurial opportunities for women. Stella and Dot has been an Olapic client since 2013.

The Challenge

Stella & Dot originally built a consumer-generated gallery for their site in-house but after realizing it wouldn’t meet their needs for reporting and product tagging, they decided to utilize Olapic’s robust visual marketing platform.

The Solution

Olapic was chosen because it offered superior functionality, including the ability to tag multiple products in a single image. The first order of business was to build a customer gallery and promote it via a homepage banner. User-generated content in the gallery was linked to corresponding product pages, which also featured product specific UGC.
