The Tile Shop is a specialty retailer of manufactured and natural stone tiles and installation materials in the United States. Founded in 1985, the brand believes in developing customer relationships through collaboration and inspiration. The Tile Shop has more than 123 showrooms offering a wide selection of high-quality tile products, up to 50 full-sized room displays, exclusive designs, expert staff, and exceptional customer service. The Tile Shop has been an Olapic client since 2015.

The Challenge

The Tile Shop was exploring additional capabilities to support online shoppers and showroom sales associates visualize what a finished space would look like as the brand has a large selection of manufactured and natural stone tiles without enough content to cover its large assortment. The brand was also looking to build brand advocacy and engage more with their various audience segments including customer home builders, interior designers, contractors, and their retail customers or homeowners.

The Solution

The Tile Shop leveraged Olapic in order to tap into the visual user-generated, or “earned,” content its customers were already creating. The brand activated earned content on its website, showroom handouts, emails, and through nationally-distributed catalogues.
