How Olapic helps Unilever pioneer the future in digital marketing
As one of the selected technology innovators by the Unilever Foundry, Olapic powered Unilever’s ice cream brand, Magnum, in a pilot project to increase the success of their social media advertising. The project leveraged customer photography taken at Magnum’s London pop-up ‘Pleasure Store’, visited by Olapic this summer, as a way to enhance the authenticity of Magnum’s advertising.
Results revealed that ads using rights-approved consumer images outperformed those with brand-created content three out of four times. With a considerable ad impression and click through rates growth, Magnum considered the pilot test a success and will be looking to roll out authentic brand advertising across the globe, as indicated by Magnum’s UK Brand Manager, Nicola Rolfe.
