Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. Though we’re a SaaS business, at our core, we’re a community-driven one and strive to ensure the personal and operational health of both our employees and our client relationships.
So today, I wanted to personally reach out and let you know that we are taking proactive, preventative measures to protect against the exposure of the virus within our workspaces. As we are a global company, we’ve implemented a travel freeze between our global Olapic offices, as well as for client visits and conferences, until further notice. We know many of you have done the same and hope we can continue to interface virtually.
We’ve also recommended that our employees work from home. As a technology company, we’re well equipped to handle business operations remotely, and have vetted this operation as many of our employees already do so today. With only a few small offices in APAC and the vast majority of our development teams based in South America, Olapic does not at this time expect any impact on our ability to serve our clients and partners.
Finally, as a result of more people staying home during this time, we’ve been closely monitoring our platforms and I wanted to assure you that we have not seen any indication of decline in any of the following areas:
- Collection and approval of user-generated content
- Production or collection of video
- Availability of influencer network
