The big news at Olapic today is that we’ve raised $15 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Felix Capital, with participation from Unilever Ventures, Fung Capital, Longworth Venture Partners, and Michael Lazerow.
How We Got Here, And What’s Next
Four years ago and with a team of just a dozen, we launched our first customer UGC gallery with a big vision for how marketing and e-commerce could be improved. Today Olapic is in use by more than 200 of the world’s leading brands and retailers, and touches millions of consumers across verticals like retail, luxury, travel, and CPG everyday.
Since then, our growing team and list of customers & brand partners have achieved a lot:
1. Olapic was the first to launch several industry leading technologies like Photorank, which enables brands to publish photos on their site that are the most likely to drive conversions — and UGC integrations with email marketing, content syndication, and ad retargeting.
2. We’ve partnered with 12 of the leading marketing technology platforms to create a unique ecosystem to help brands do amazing things with visual marketing
3. The only visual marketing company selected by Instagram as a partner for their latest Ad products.
With this round of funding and the now 100+ Olapicers on the team across 3 continents we’re more excited than ever to work with our growing list of brand partners to continue expanding Olapic’s visual content engine to enable marketers to use their best socially-validated content on every channel.
